Great Weekend

We had a great weekend. We had the best houseguest ever Friday night! Hannah spent the night and she was perfect! She slept from 11 p.m. until 8:30 a.m.! I was surprised since she was in unfamiliar surroundings. This is the second time she has spent the night with us and we really enjoyed it! Here are a couple of pictures I took Saturday morning. Hannah is just the sweetest little neice an aunt could ever hope for!!
On Saturday we went to Hannah's first birthday (unfortunately, I forgot my camera!). It's hard to believe she is going to be one year old on Thursday!!! This time last year we were all anxiously waiting for her arrival! Happy early birthday, Hannah boo!!!

We didn't do much on Sunday, just a little laundry. Sunday night after church Addi and I went to Dairy Queen with the usual Sunday night crew and it was very enjoyable.
Today was just an average Monday. The kids both slept late and I took advantage of that and slept in too! Addi had her first soccer practice tonight. It was HOT, but she enjoyed herself. Her first game is on September 15th, so mark your calendars!!
I spoke with the surgery scheduling department at St. Vincent's today and got the c-section scheduled. We will have to be there on October 12th at 5 a.m. The surgery is scheduled for 7 a.m.! It's really starting to sink in that we're almost there!!
Happy Monday everyone!!

56 Days to Go!!!

I went to the dr. today for a regular checkup. I'm 31 weeks and one day today. I'm happy to report that I had not gained any weight so I'm still at starting weight. Woo hoo! My BP (this is strictly for Tina) was 122/74. Lila's heartrate was fine too. Everything is going great! We scheduled our c-section today, so our official date is OCTOBER 12TH!!! After some debate (since my dr. just retired from OB), Dr. John Woods is going to do the c-section. He is very kind and has a great bedside manner. I think I'll be happy with this decision. He told me today that my liver condition with my first pregnancy is "on my radar" but that there's really no reason to worry as recurrence is so rare.
Paul is going to try to find me a good countdown clock to put on my blog now that we have an exact date.
Even though things continue to go very well, we ask that you all continue to remember us in your prayers, as we all know how fast things can change. We are so thankful that God has blessed us so far with such a healthy pregnancy and baby.
Only 56 days until Lila's arrival!! Man, I've got to get her room ready!!!

Update on Addi

Addi did go to the doctor today. She has bronchitis. So he put her on some good cough medicine and an antibiotic. He also gave her some cream to go on a couple of spots she had on her face. Addi had self-diagnosed herself with the chicken pox, but Dr. Smith assured her it was NOT that! Dr. Smith said it was probably Infantigo. She may just be blessed with my "sensitive" skin. Ugh, I hope not.
Not much else going on. Levi made it through church tonight without having to go to the nursery. I was proud of him! Go Levi!
One more thing- It is HOT here! These over 100 degree days are killing me! And our air conditioner is struggling to keep up!

30 Weeks!

Well, today marks week 30 for this pregnancy! I'm posting this accomplishment just for Tina! ;-) I'm still feeling great, other than the fact that I was up at 2 a.m. with heartburn. A little Zantac took care of that pretty quick. At 2 a.m. I was very thankful for the DVR!! I am starting to really look forward to the arrival of our little Lila. It has seemed so far away until very recently. Now it seems like it is just around the corner! We'll have the c-section around 39 weeks or earlier, so I only have about 9 weeks to go!!! I'll meet with my new doctor when I go next week. I hope I like him. If not, I'll choose to use another doctor in my group for the section. I hate that my doctor is retiring right now. Couldn't have chosen a more inconvenient timing (for me, that is).
I'm taking Addi to the doctor today. She has been very congested and I'm afraid she may have some kind of infection (sinus or bronchitis). Her cough sounds pretty rough.
Paul and Alex got all of our furniture moved back last night! Yea!!! The floors look absolutely wonderful!!! I'm so proud of all the work Paul put into this project. It was a lot of hard work, but definitely worth it! I dusted a LOT last night, but still have some to do. That sanding really got the place very, very dusty. I think that's what started Addi's congestion.
Paul went back to work Monday, so the kids and I are starting to get back into our "routine" if that's what you call it. Levi has decided he likes to sleep late like Addi and myself so I'm not complaining about that at all!!! The only bad thing is that we're all going to be accustomed to sleeping in and Lila is going to throw a major kink in that routine!
Well, that's all for now! Happy Wednesday!!

Saturday

I don't have anything really exciting to report. We spent the night at home last night for the first time in 3 days. Thanks to Billy and Mary for letting us stay with them while Paul is refinishing the floors. The dust and fumes were a little much for me and the kids. Paul has gone to Home Depot to get the last coat of polyurethane for the floor. Then when he finishes that, he'll start work on the living room! It's taken a little longer than anticipated, but the floor looks GREAT!!!! You can see a picture on Paul's blog. I'm so proud of Paul for the hard work that he's put into it. It's going to be something that I know we'll both be proud of!
I'm not sure if we'll be able to stay home tonight or not. It depends on how long the last coat takes to dry.

I'm going to try to go out in a bit to do some tax-free shopping. I need to find Addi some cleats for soccer and Paul a couple of back t0 school shirts. Hopefully Levi will cooperate. Soccer starts soon. Tryouts are Monday!! We registered Addi on Thursday and she is so excited!!!

Well, that's all my exciting news for now. Hope you are all having a great weekend!!
